Replays are so shit that it's impossible to tell whether someone is aimbotting from those but when watching live streams it becomes obvious when a Rhino is nospreading half the map or and when their team is obviously walling. The clincher? I see people playing in competition games that have similar settings to those that I used. It's only when faced with another cheater, such as myself, that often these cheaters would then switch settings and aimbot anything that moves. Most cheater use 'closet' settings with a lower angle, higher smoothness and less obvious walls. Because the cheat I was using showed snap lines and where the enemy player was facing it became rather obvious when an enemy was staring at me through a wall - There was literally a waller per game towards the end of the month. The most obvious and most common cheat I encountered was wall hacks. I definitely want to state that there are some players, and times, where people can pull off these shots but to consistently hit pixel shots from fucked up angles is impossible. People don't count bullets like that, it's a program that detects enemy hitboxes and fires when they come into contact with the cross hair - I know you've been fucked up multiple times by a trigger botting Vasilli shooting the most obscene shots ever, that's what was happening. This is the kid that runs around the corner and shotguns you but looks like you gave him the hugest fright in doing so - It's incredibly blatant if you peek for just a second and the gun fires but as soon as you stop peeking the fire rate stops and then continues when you come into line of sight again. The first of which is the trigger botter. Very rarely did I find a server that didn't have 2-3 other cheaters, although the cheats being used varied. One thing I noted during my time cheating was how evident the use of cheats was within the Dirty Bomb community. When you're playing Rhino and able to kill someone from half the map away surely the anti cheat must know something is fucked up, right? Apparently not this one. I was Rhino no spreading for 2 weeks, going 100 kills per match with very few deaths. It was my goal to see how long I could cheat, obviously, and investigate how rampant the cheating problem was in game. I was surprised when after the first day I woke up the next morning and had no issues. I even cheated in competitive games without any issue.īefore people shit on me for cheating I should state, in my defense, that I was hoping I would be banned quickly and that the cheat would get picked up within minutes. I was called out nearly every game, I was reported thousands of times and still my account is unbanned. This is a huge issue, not a single action was taken against my account and I never felt like I was potentially going to get caught and in turn didn't try to hide it. I used blatant settings (No recoil, no spread, walls, trigger bot etc) and after a month of blatantly cheating nothing has happened.
I ask you think critically about what you're reading and the game you're playing and start requesting devs work on their anti cheat, make it harder to cheat.įor the last month I have been cheating on dirty bomb, I did so in an effort to see how long it would take me to get banned. I guess I should preface this by stating I want it to be somewhat educational and perhaps open peoples eyes to what is actually taking place in game.
